Most of the world does not fluoridate their water supply.
Many of the countries with less cavities than U.S. do not fluoridate,
including
those with the absolute best statistics.
Israel has just stopped forced mass fluoridation.
The EPA scientists have issued a statement against fluoride, defying
their
bosses.
The very agencies who promote fluoride, such as the CDC, ADA, FDA, etc.
have
reversed themselves on several key points. After many
research studies,
it is now NOT considered an essential nutrient, it is now advised NOT
to give
it to infants, it is now advised NOT to give it to kidney
patients.
They now even admit that all possible benefit is from topical
application
only, not ingestion. All these reversals are not properly
advertised. Why?
The large cities in the US add hydrofluorosilicic acid to the
water. It
is an impure toxic waste of the fertilizer industry.
It is not 'natural' as is so often ignorantly repeated. And
if it were,
that would be 100% irrelevant. Lead, Mercury, Uranium,
Arsenic, Cadmium,
are quite natural, yet completely hazardous and banned from our
drinking
water. Fluorine is the most reactive element on the periodic
table.
Its toxicity is rated above lead, just below
arsenic. That is why
it is the active ingredient in Sarin gas and
pesticides.
In the midst of epidemic rises in diseases such as cancer, diabetes,
autism,
Alzheimer's, infertility, arthritis, and thyroid imbalance we cannot
afford to
pretend that our medical system is beyond reproach. We are at
the
tippy-top end in all these categories, despite being number one in
dollars
spent on research and health care!?! We are also at
the top in
fluoride use. To say all of these problems are primarily a
direct result
of fluoride use would constitute a logical fallacy, but to ignore it is
worse.
Again, flaunting endorsements from professional associations
is no
substitute for science. After 70 years, why do the
major agencies
like the CDC and FDA refuse to test these aspects? It is
actually illegal, as well as immoral, for them to not research the most
widely
disseminated chemical additive ever used. More research is
called for,
but meanwhile we must desist from pouring toxic waste in our water, as
the law
demands for everything else.
